Welcome to my blog!

I’m Daria Khil, a Story Artist at DreamWorks Animation, currently storyboarding on upcoming feature films, including the recently announced Forgotten Island and The Wild Robot. 

Over the past 13 years, I’ve explored many creative paths, from illustration and concept art for games to directing commercial animation. After graduating from SCAD, I joined DreamWorks to work on Dog Man. Since then, I’ve completed the studio’s Story Internship and Trainee Program and contributed to several feature productions. 

Outside the studio, I’m passionate about helping emerging artists grow. I mentor through Women in Animation, give talks and portfolio reviews at events like LightBox Expo and CTN, and judge contests such as the Savannah Film Festival and 24-Hour Animation.
